I think it's important to practise filming videos. A one-minute video is quite difficult to film if you take into consideration the need for a story, a climax, lighting, sound, point of view, transitions, etc. Most of the time I felt as if there was no story. I prefer things to be spontaneously poetic. Like filming a leaf in the rain. Sometimes things just don't work out, at other times they just do. But what's important are the fundamentals which do not change - lighting, filming/holding the phone in landscape mode, choosing a smooth or abrupt transition depending on the plot. I have learnt a lot from this course and look forward to refining my filming techniques in the months to come.
